IMPLEMENTATION STATUS OF PHASE 02

MALAYSIA–CHINA YOUTH TVET TRAINING (MCYTT) 2.0 – MITRA PROGRAMME

To all participants of the following groups:

G01 – Logistics Technology

G01 – Electronics / Semiconductor Technology

G01 – Cybersecurity Technology

G01 – Electrical Technology

G02 – Electrical Technology

G02 – Computer Systems Technology

G03 – Automotive Technology (Electric Vehicle)

Greetings.

The Secretariat of the Malaysia–China Youth TVET Training (MCYTT) 2.0 – MITRA Programme would like to inform that the official announcement regarding Phase 02 deployment of participants to the People’s Republic of China will be made in the near future.

At present, the implementation process is in the final stage of approval by the relevant authorities in the People’s Republic of China. Therefore, there is no issue of delay, as all procedures are progressing through the normal required processes for international training and mobility programmes.

This programme involves strategic cooperation between Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China, which requires coordination and approval from various stakeholders. Every process must comply with established official procedures to ensure smooth implementation, participant welfare, and safety throughout the programme.

Among the matters currently being coordinated are:

• Compliance with the academic calendar and training schedules of TVET institutions in China.

• Screening, verification, and approval processes by relevant authorities in China.

• Compliance with safety requirements, international travel management, and current applicable policies.

• Coordination with participants’ educational and training institutions in Malaysia, which are currently facing challenges in releasing students due to examination schedules, industrial training, academic assessments, and administrative matters.

In addition, each participant group will only be deployed once all administrative, logistical, and approval requirements have been finalised. This approach is important to ensure that all participants can undergo training smoothly, safely, and according to the agreed plan by all parties.

The Secretariat of the MCYTT 2.0 – MITRA Programme, together with strategic partners in Malaysia and China, is fully committed to ensuring that this process is completed as soon as possible without compromising compliance, safety, and programme quality.

Therefore, all participants are kindly requested to:

✅ Remain in their respective official WhatsApp groups.

✅ Not leave the group until the official announcement is made.

✅ Continuously follow all updates, instructions, and latest information shared from time to time.

✅ Avoid spreading unverified information to prevent confusion among participants.

The Secretariat greatly appreciates the patience, trust, and cooperation of all participants throughout this process. We understand the enthusiasm of every participant to join the training programme in China and assure that all updates will be officially communicated once final approval is received from the relevant authorities and institutions.
